Lets begin…

Step 1: Create a new document 350×100 pixels with a white background.

Step 2: Set your foreground colour to #9cb852 and your background colour to #ffffff. Make a gradient using the gradient tool - from top to bottom. Your document should look like this…

Step 3: Ceate a new layer (Layer > New > Layer).

Step 4: Using the Rounded Rectangular Tool (10 pixel radius), make a square (holding down shift will keep the width and height equal) on the left hand side of your document.

Step 5: Add the following blending options to the layer (double click on your ‘Shape 1′ layer in your layers window)…
