In this tutorial you will learn how to create a Spiderman 3 Signature Bar that looks like this…

Tutorial: Step 1: Click HERE, right click on the image, then click “Save Image As”. You will need this image to create the signature bar. Step 2: Open Adobe Photoshop and create a new document - 400 x 100 pixels Step 3: Open the image downloaded in step 1. Step 4: Using the “Move” tool located on the left sidebar (see image below), click on the Spiderman image and move it to your blank 400 x 100 document. Play around with the image until it sits nicely.
Your 400 x 100 document should look like this: Step 5: Change layer style to “Hard Light” (Alt + Shift + H).

Step 6: Select the entire image, right click and hit “Stroke”. Set it to 1 pixel, colour black. Step 7: Add a new layer (Layer > New > Layer) and name it “writing”, then type the text you want. Step 8: Double click on the “writing” layer on the right sidebar and edit the following settings… - Drop Shadow: Opacity 75%, Distance 5, Spread 0, Size 5. - Inner Shadow: Opacity 75%, Distance 5, Spread 0, Size 5. - Bevel and Emboss: Depth 100%, Size 1, Soften 0. - Stroke: Size 1, Opacity 100%, Colour Black. Step 9: Click the “Eye Dropper” Tool (see image below) and click on one of the main colours within the image (I clicked on a dark blue).
Step 10: Highlight the text, double click on the colour you selected and the text should change to dark blue. Your image is finished, you should end up with something like the image at the start of this tutorial… |
